The aim of this thematic part is to overview the main priorities of ongoing international projects, available research infrastructure and scientific potential. The facilitation of transnational transfer of research methodology will be discussed.

Technology transfer processes in the context of Eastern partnership
The aim of the second thematic part is to reflect the “critical mass” for technology transfer processes. In order to make technology transfer functioning many experts around the world point out that the need of “critical mass,” which is defined as technological and scientific potential, technology commercialization competences and financing.

Creative industries- possibilities of media and technology interface in the context of Eastern partnership
Creative industries in a modern economy act as a catalyst for innovation and structural change. They also demand the development of new cluster concepts and business models to enable the merge between the creative contents and information & communication technology tools for speeding up the development of creative knowledge economy. During the session we will address the business profiles and policy intensives to the development of creative industries.
Discussion Session
“ON THE WAY TO KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY”

This is an open question session that will provide the opportunity to explore some issues on joint research and business projects, to share ideas about areas for cooperation between science and education institutions, and how those areas might be developed for mutual benefit. The goal of the session is to overview current issues and hot topics in an open discussion with experts, to generate new questions, and to rigorously reflect on the creative solutions of existing obstacles.
The panel brings together scholars, education policy makers and government officials, who are knowledgeable in European and Asian region current and future issues.
The audience is welcome to be an active participant in the discussion and will have an opportunity to raise questions for session experts and to stimulate the discussion. Constructive controversy and debate are welcome.
The duration of this session will last approximately for 1 hour and 15 min and will start with a brief introduction by two moderators and short stimulus presentations from each member on the panel.
